Op-Ed Featured in the SF Examiner

We are proud to share that our Executive Director Michael Rugen and District 10 Supervisor Shamann Walton co-wrote an op-ed that was featured in today's SF Examiner. The article notes the systemic barriers faced by children growing up in our most impoverished neighborhoods and describes the critical role that Friends of the Children plays in helping the most challenged children overcome those barriers and unlock their potential.
